I'm just thinking if someone can give me a few tips here so that I can understand the concepts behind math.com reducing rational expressions to lowest terms. I find solving equations really tough . I work part time and thus have no time left to take extra classes. Can you guys suggest any online resource that can help me with this subject?

I must agree that Algebrator is a great thing and the best program of this kind you can get . I was thrilled when after weeks of anger I simply typed in inverse matrices and that was the end of my difficulties with math. It's also great that you can use the software for any level: I have been using it for several years now, I used it in Basic Math and in Remedial Algebra also ! Just try it and see it for yourself!

I remember having problems with function definition, linear equations and graphing. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Intermediate algebra, Intermediate algebra and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
