I'm just wondering if anyone can give me a few tips here so that I can understand the concepts behind how to solve equations with fractional exponents. I find solving equations really difficult. I work in the evening and thus have no time left to take extra tutoring . Can you guys suggest any online resource that can help me with this subject?

I would just add a note to what has been posted above. Algebrator no doubt is the best tool one could have. Always use it as a reference and a means to learn and never to copy .

I remember having often faced problems with binomials, monomials and roots. A really great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – Intermediate algebra, Remedial Algebra and Basic Math. I greatly recommend the program.

You can download this software from https://algebra-cheat.com/developmental-mathematics-course-information.html. There are some demos available to see if it is what want and if you are interested , you can get a licensed version for a nominal amount.
