I'm just thinking if anyone can give me a few tips here so that I can understand the concepts behind free maths tests for year 10. I find solving equations really tough . I work part time and thus have no time left to take extra classes. Can you guys suggest any online resource that can assist me with this subject?

Aaah May God save us students from the wrath of free maths tests for year 10. I used to face same problems that you do when I was there. I always used to be confused in Basic Math, College Algebra and Algebra 2. I was worst in free maths tests for year 10 till I came to know of Algebrator. It is really useful and I would surely recommend it. The best part of the software is that it will also help you learn algebra and not just list your answers. I found Algebrator effective and am sure it will help you too. Enjoy!

I can confirm that. Algebrator is the ultimate piece of software for solving algebra assignments. Been using it for a while now and it keeps on amazing me. Every homework that I type in, Algebrator gives me a correct answer to it. I have never enjoyed learning math homework on linear inequalities, adding functions and absolute values so much before. I would suggest it for sure.
